My name is Cole Young, and I’m a producer, mixer, and drummer from Forest, VA. From my very first time in a recording studio, I fell in love with the process and nuance of making records. I got my start playing drums in my band, Vacation Manor, and being in the studio has always been my favorite part about what we do. I loved looking over the shoulders of some great producers we got to work with and I was always so curious how they were doing what they were doing… At the end of 2020, we needed one more song for our debut album, but we had already spent our recording advance and we were totally out of budget. Classic. Anyway, we still needed that 12th song, and one weekend we ended up writing our song, “Can’t Run Forever”, and as we were making the demo, we realized we loved how everything sounded. So, out of necessity and a real enthusiasm for our “demo”, that ended up being the final version we released. That was my first release as a producer and since then, I’ve been making records for my band and all sorts of other artists, bands, and friends.

I’m currently working out of my studio in Forest, VA, and doing full song production, mixing, and also engineering projects for other producers / artists if you just need a studio with some great microphones and instruments for the day.
